i have finally replaced my old Asus WL500gP with a Linksys E3000. On my other routers i am using the Access restriction settings to disable wifi during the night and when i am not at home. However with the dualband linksys i would like to use separate rules for the 5Ghz and the 2.4 Ghz channel.

The Access restriction page only allows to disable all wifi communication. I understand that probably i will need to set up some scripts through the scheduler. The questions is what commands to use to disable the particular wifi frequencies?

    Check out the wl command.

    Also, the nvram command.

    (Both are monsters.)
