PPTP-support was finally added in 1.3.7.4 but unfortunately is not working properly:

configure any unsername and password on the router and configure windows client for the same - works without "encryption required" on windows side...

if you simply leave all settings empty in the windows pptp-client, connections can still successfully be made... :))

if you select "encryption required" in windows client, no connection can be made.

    Any ideas?

Wow they added PPTP VPN? One of their higher up regional reps told me it was never going to be added, not enough room in the lesser memory of the 042. Well..good to see a handy feature like that added. I didn't see it on the version changelog.

    NO credentials needed

...if PPTP-Server is activated/ no encryption is made?
    are the guys crazy?

can't see any .conf files via telnet where something like "require ms-chap" or something similar is in...
the password-files simply seem not to be used...
