Hello. I have searched up and down google and this site and can not find the answer to this. I want to be able to setup an appliance at our head office for VPN and have appliances at the satellite offices. We have a few BEFSX41s and will be getting a RV016 soon. What I would like to know is if there are how-to guides out there for this. Also, I would like to use our Active Directory to Authenticate clients so they may use shared folders, etc. The clients already have a "Dial up" vpn connection which tunnels across the internet and into our windows box. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

Since the RV series routers are somewhat "similar" to the WRV54G, you can use the quickvpn setup guide that's located on the linksysinfo.org. homepage.

Setting up clients in active directory isn't going to be too difficult becausel they are already authenticating via dialup. When you get your RV, do you plan on using third party vpn clients or the built in quickvpn application?

Thanks DocLarge for the reply. When we get the RV, if at all possible, we plan on continuing to use the windows vpn connection. Since the server will be sitting behind the RV, we will need to have our existing travling employees authenticate using windows (if possible).
