RV016 and Wireless Router

    I am moving my websites and development work to my server at home, and I went ahead and purchased a Linksys RV016 VPN Router to use with my servers at home, the reason is because I have some developers that need access to it, and the VPN will work great. I am concerned about losing my Wireless capabilities with this upgrade. Which wireless router would work the best as an add-on to the RV016? I want to be able to use my wi-fi laptop around the house. I will also have my Xbox 360/PS3/Wii on the wireless network.

    I have the connections going this way:
    INTERNET --> RV016 --> Servers

    Should I use the Wireless router between the Internet Connection and the RV016 or between the RV016 and the servers? Or just use another port in the RV016 and leave the servers hooked up to the RV016 directly?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This one is really up to you, I have recently played with 5 different wireless models that all are great overall. Cisco 871W, Checkpoint Safe@Office wireless (both very pricey but great). Linksys WRV200 and WRTSL54GS and Buffalo (I forget the model number buts its an older one). I would have to say the Buffalo has the best Wireless range of the latter 3 but all work well. In regards to placement, between the RV and your network is going to be the easiest especially if you are going to potentially have multiple pptp or ipsec tunnels. What to take away is, there is no right or wrong answer when it comes to what wireless, do a little research and buy the most cost effective one that meets your needs.

    Thank You Ifican.
    I looked around and went ahead and purchased a Linksys WRT350N.

    The New layout will look like this:
    INTERNET --> RV016
    .......................|--> WRT350N --> Wired/Wireless PCS and Videogames
    .......................|--> IIS / SQL / MAIL Servers

    How does that look?

    Thanks!

    As a whole should be great, i have heard lots of mixed reviews on the 350N. I dont remember what the beefs were, but i know if you search around the boards you can find them.

    Thanks for your help ifican. I will give the 350N a shot and post what I find out back in this same thread. I also read a lot about it, bad and good things... Let's see how it turns out...

    Thanks!
