I have a RV016 and I am running out of IP addresses. I have a cisco catalyst 3550 L3 switch that I am using to route my local networks (192.168.10.xx, 192.168.9.xx, 192.168.8.xx) The RV106 is 192.168.10.5 when I am on the 192.168.10.xx network everything works great. When I am on the 192.168.9.xx or 192.168.8.xx networks all three networks can talk to each other but I am unable to get out to the internet. For a test I set my RV016 to a static address and connected it directly to a laptop when I do this I am able to do an RDP connection from all three networks to the laptop. I was think of Natting at the cisco 3550 but it doesn't support nat. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

    Erik

are all the computers on all the networks getting IP addresses from the DHCP server on the RV016?

if your unable to get out to the internet it sounds like your gateway is incorrect. what gateway do all the PCs show. they should ALL be pointing to the same gateway.

if your running out of IP addresses try using the 10.x.x.x network IP address.

could you also show us a small DIagram of what your layout is.

    Simon,

Here is a quick drawing :

when I do this all the machines on any of the subnets can talk with each other. Only the 192.168.10.xx network can talk to the internet. From what I have found on the internet the problem seems to be that the linksys will only nat one subnet. If I connect a laptop to the wan side of the RV016 I can talk with it no problem, then when I connect it back to the internet I cannot even ping an external ip address on the .8xx or .9.xx subnet but the .10.xx works fine.

    Thanks

on a machine that cannot access the internet, what does it give as its gateway?

on an XP machine, command prompt, IPCONFIG.

    what IP has the RV016?
