I have 2 offices connected through a WAN VPN tunnel (both ends are RV042).

    Currently everything is working fine.

I saw that RIP is disabled on both routers.

May I gain something to enable it (I do not really know what is RIP and if having it disable is a lack for my network ) ? If yes, what are your advices of setting ?

    Thanks for your help

There no need for you to use RIP or turn it on. It is not hurting you to leave it disabled and as you have already explained everything is working a OK.
