    Hi there,

I'm trying to configure Keep Me Posted (http://www.elegantlogic.com/KeepMePosted/Default.htm) so I can access my network via RDC. Keep Me Posted requires an URL to the router which will tell the program what the external IP addy is. I can't seem to find this info and Linksys has no clue. Documentation from Keep Me Posted shows a few Linksys products URLS as http://192.168.1.1/Status.htm or RouterStatus.htm. I need this info for the RV042.

    Any help out there?

    Thanks.

    Hey there:

Recommend that you go with DynDNS, instead of this "Keep Me Posted". It has far superior availability and the RV042 has native support in the router for it. Don't need to install extra software unless you need to configure wildcard for your domain.

    www.dyndns.org

Configure DDNS in the Setup Menu of the router, firmware 1.3.6.4 or higher for best stability.

    Hope this helps. :thumb:
