is it because the modem's http server are both 192.168.100.1?

i had a similar problem that the second connection only ever showed as 0.0.0.0 but i was using smart link backup mode. but when i disconnected the WAN1, the IP for WAN2 appeared and started working.

but it should be showing up as green on the diagram meaning it can see the connection. you dont have a setting somewhere else saying to use it as a DMZ port and not an internet one?

The problem would appear to be that your modem(s) are using NAT mode (they are modem-routers)

What you need to do is set the modems into bridge mode, so that they pass-on the initial IP address (as seen by the outside world) to the WAN port on the router.

I had some issues doing this with our modems, but we're lucky in that our ISP gives us two IP addresses, so I just configured the range the modems were handing out to be that second IP address. Now, the modem gets one address and the router gets the other.

    Hope this helps
