go to linksys website to download
its already here (downloads) and has been for a month or so.
So, there are no changes between what was released here as the beta?
Will the DNS "known issue" be fixed soon? I like the performance increase in this version, but want my DHCP clients to use the RV042 as the DNS server.
I'd also like it if the RV042 DNS server returned the name of the host given in the static DHCP setup instead of "static-host".
Would the DHCP "known issue" be considered a bug and as such be looked at sometime? If by design it seems very strange but if a bug then I understand. I'm guessing bug since there is a config section for setting DNS servers on the DHCP page. Of course that does nothing at this point.
In my case I usually want to assign an internal DNS server, so to get around this I have to also do DHCP from that internal server so this isn't a show stopper. At another location it is a problem since there isn't an internal DNS or DHCP server and I need to assign as primary a DNS and WINS server that sits across a VPN.
