RV042 - Load Balancing: Broken, or config problem??

Hi have my RV042 configured for locad balancing, and a few protocol bindings set up for https, pptp etc so that it can maintain a connection with a single WAN connection.

However, I am finding that my VPN is dropping on an irregular, but frequent basis (which is becoming quite annoying) . If I switch back to smart link backup so all traffic uses just one WAN connection then all is fine.

Problem also applies to FTP uploads (I cannot upload more than 6Mb without it dropping and starting again), and with Skype and Online Radio stations. (With the FTP Upload I set the protocol binding to apply to all traffic to my target IP address, but still the same effect)

It feels like the RV042 is occasionally sending a packet down the wrong WAN port (even though specified in the Protocol bindings).

Anybody know if this is a firmware issue, or something that I have configured incorrectly?

Thanks for any help with this very frustrating issue.

(Using latest firmware, but have tried downgraded to last official release firmware and problem there as well)
