I don't have too many issues with this router, my previous one was a netgear FVS124G twin lan port job, and that never worked properly. If you really want to hear people slate off a product you wanna try the netgear forum. But anyway!

The problem I have with this router is that of primary and secondary wan ports. I use this in load balancing mode, (I can't really see the point of failover) but would like to set specifically set my cabe NTL 3MBPS connection as primary, and my Bulldog DSL 8MBPS as secondary. Strange you may think, but no. The reason is simple. The dns resolution on the NTL interface is far quicker (typically less than a second) than the bulldog, (typically 5 -10 seconds). Clearly for normal surfing it is much faster to use the NTL connection as the pages load so much faster due to the dns relsolution speeds. Of course when downloading I use the bulldog connection which is way faster. unfortunately the router seems to auto detect the faster connection and default to using it as primary. Even if I manually set the speeds so that the NTL appears faster, this settting seeems to be overwritten within a couple of minutes or so... Help please. Any ideas guys?
