    Hello,

May I ask You for help. I have following configuration... RV042 with enabled DHCP server and Win2k3 with DNS server. Also on RV042 I have configured VPN connection. I can connect using VPN, but I cannot connect or ping any host in network using host name. I need to use IP addresses.
But I have problem when I want to connect to ERP system. ERP thin client requires a host name, no ip address.
What should I change to resolve this problem...

    Thank You for help
    Best Regards
    michasio.

There is a very small amount of information in your post.

First, it would be good to know what kind of VPN connection you are using. Different kinds of tunnels (gateway to gateway, client to gateway, ppptp) have different features available.

The type of your router is not without meaning, as well. There are two completely different versions of RV042 routers. RV042 v1 and RV042 v3 just share the name and were put in same looking box. But inside there are totaly different electronics and firmware.
