    Hi,

    I have one RV042 that have one problem, the diag led is on and i cannot access anymore to its GUI.
    When i ping its IP i get some replys, others are lost and others are very high timed.

    Does anyone have this problem?

    I have already bought other RV042 (it is working perfectly) and have tested the new power supply on my old RV042 and there is the same situation.

    I have also made a reset to it and it keeps with the problem...

    Should i use a tftp to try to upload again the firmware?

    have you tried a different Ethernet cable or network port? have you reset by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds?

    Hi,

    Yes, i did tried on a different port and ethernet cable.
    And i also did a reset.

    The diag led keeps blinking... Is there any hope? :biggrin:

    It could also be a hardware issue (capacitors). These devices have been reported to have failures due to a capacitor(s) issue. Mine was doing the same thing and after replacing the capacitors has been working fine.

    Hi Steve,

    It was in fact a hardware problem, i have replaced the three capacitors as described on the thread you have mencioned.

    I works perfectly now.
