Hi - I bought a new RV042 for home use, I have two lines coming for cable internet.

    Both are at 15/2 mpbs.

Now, when I connect the modem directly to my PC I get speeds between 15-20mpbs down.

If I connected Modem A and Modem B to RV042 and test it out, I get speeds of only 6-10mpbs.

I have firmware v1.3.12.6-tm on the unit and have placed the setting to Load Balance.

I have placed the maximum under the down/up stream.

I don't understand why I am not getting comparable speeds, with both modems connected, I would have expected to exceed 20mpbs.

I read some forums saying change the MTU to 1500, but when I got to the Firewall Tab --> General --> I don't see MTU anywhere. I am not sure if the latest firmware removed this feature?

    Help would be appreciated.

Try to take the Router out of load balancing mode and then test internet speeds
with only 1 Wan port active.

I have a Fiber circuit 30up and 30 down and getting exactly that with my
    RV082 in single Wan mode.

The RV0xx line of routers don't efficiently load balance...

Yeah I tried it with one Modem - without Load Balancing and only got like 6mpbs.

I'm going to go home during lunch and try the MTU setting. Someone told me it is in one of the Network subtabs in the newer firmware.
