I have a firewall rule on my RV042 and I have enabled telnetd (thanks to this forum) but I'm wondering if anyone knows how to enable or disable a firewall rule from the telnet interface

    Thanks

I'm just putting this out there in case some one needs it
I hate finding threads with the same question and no answer so ....

once you login to the telnet site

    this will list your rules
    Code:
    rg_conf_print /nk/fw/rule
Find the ID of the rule you want to change (in my case 9)

    to enable the rule

    Code:
    rg_conf_print /nk/fw/rule/9/enabled 1
    to disable the rule

    Code:
    rg_conf_print /nk/fw/rule/9/enabled 0
    then commit the changes

    Code:
    commit_flash
    your done
