BEFVP41 is placed behind Axesstel MV410R VPN passthrough capable router with ports 500 and 4500 forwarded to the BEFVP41 WAN port (192.168.0.200). - NAT-Traversal option turned on - The remote gateway is set to "Any". RV042 is placed behind NAT router I do not have the control of. - NAT-Traversal option for the tynnel is turned on. - The remote gateway is set to the remote MV410R WAN IP The VPN tunnel negotiation does not consider using NAT traversal, as far as I can see. The RV042 complains in the log: Code: Apr 28 12:48:14 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] >>> Initiator Send Main Mode 1st packet Apr 28 12:48:19 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] <<< Initiator Received Main Mode 2nd packet Apr 28 12:48:19 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] >>> Initiator send Main Mode 3rd packet Apr 28 12:48:21 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] <<< Initiator Received Main Mode 4th packet Apr 28 12:48:21 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] >>> Initiator Send Main Mode 5th packet Apr 28 12:48:21 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] >>> Initiator Receive Main Mode 6th packet Apr 28 12:48:21 2009 VPN Log Main mode peer ID is ID_IPV4_ADDR: '192.168.0.200' Apr 28 12:48:21 2009 VPN Log We require peer to have ID '79.162.212.12', but peer declares '192.168.0.200' Apr 28 12:48:31 2009 VPN Log [Tunnel Negotiation Info] >>> Initiator Receive Main Mode 6th packet Apr 28 12:48:31 2009 VPN Log Main mode peer ID is ID_IPV4_ADDR: '192.168.0.200' Apr 28 12:48:31 2009 VPN Log We require peer to have ID '79.162.212.12', but peer declares '192.168.0.200' Apparently the RV042 does not consider to use NAT-Traversal, for some reason. I'm unable to switch the MV410R to the gateway mode. So, I have stucked.
