    Hi,

I have a RV042 which i am trying to get to work with a particular VPN configuration. Let me inform you of the details.

This endpoint and the subnet it is connected it is just a small chunk of a much larger network. It connects (via ipsec) to a debian based router running racoon/kame that can route packets to any other part of the wan. The whole wan should be accessible through the tunnel, so it makes sense to assign a remote group address of 10.0.0.0/8. However, the local subnet has an address/mask of 10.0.128.0/24. The other linksys vpn routers i've used (BEFSX41, despite its problems) have not cared about having conflicting remote/local secure groups. The RV042 however, will become very unstable with this configuration .

Is this because i'm doing something that i really shouldnt be? (although, i think i should be able to do it) If this type of configuration is indeed illegal, how can it easily be rectified? Is this a glitch with the RV042?

    I'm running the 1.3.3 firmware.

    Thanks
    -Andrew
