Wondering, I have tried to setup access rules on the RV082 with no success I only can get the port to open if I use Port Forwarding which sucks because I want to limit access from certain IP's. Can some one help me am I doing something wrong??? I am using Firmware 1.1.5. One last thing has anybody come up with a "modified" Firmware since this baby is so powerful, I can only imagine what people can do with this baby.

I have been having the same issue with an RV042. The last response that I got from Linksys is as follows...

"You will have to use forwarding to do this. Access Rules is just to allow the traffic to come through, but you can't specify the port that the Access Rule needs to forward."

This upper level support person had set this unit up in the lab, and found this result... I find this hard to believe since you have to select a service port to make an access rule work... I'm now on my 4th call to support, and will post more when I get the information.
