I couldn't find a solution for my problems anywhere.

I have a Linksys RV082 router Firmware Version: 1.3.98-tm. There are about 25-35 computers connected to the Internet thru it. It has a working gateway-to-gatway VPN with a remote Cisco PIX device. Connections with QuickVPN also work. It is set to Dual WAN, Load Balance with rules to send major part of the private IPs thru WAN1 and a small part thru WAN2. When either goes down the router sends all trafic to the working one, it is smart.

    WAN1 is PPPOE - primary
    WAN2 is static - backup

    I have 3 problems

    1. The router restarts by itself on a random periods of time. (about every 2 days)
No distinctive logs. It had that problem on the previous firmware, after flashing with the new one, the issue disappeared for a while (like a week) and now it's back.

    2. When the router restarts it doesn't dial (connect) WAN1 pppoe automatically.
Administrator must go to the web interface and press the "connect" button on the "System Summary" page. Anyway to make that automatic?

    3. Windows clients connect successfuly to the PPTP server but the user has access only to CIFS (windows shares) services on the network. Everything else like RDP, SQL etc. is blocked. No entries in the log of the router.
