I have the same thing happening on our 4 routers (4 different locations, 2 inside datacenters). The max uptime is less than 4 days. 3 are at the latest firmware version (

I contacted tech support and was told:

"We need to do a hardreset in order to synchronize the hardware and the firmware"

"You have to reset the router to its factory defaults after updating the firmware"

I plan on resetting my local router tonight to see what happens.

Hope you do not have too many settings to re-enter.

I had the same problem. Simply go back to no trouble since that. (also tried the 14 with factory default but still causes errors)

What unusual settings are you guys using? I have probably 8-ish RV082's out in the field on various clients, and man...rock rock steady as can be.

Here's a screenshot I just took a few minutes ago of my own RV082 at home....it's showing 12 days...and I only powered it down 12 days ago to re-arrange my countertop in my office. Else it would probably have a few months of uptime showing...at least.

I will add that I always plug my broadband modems, and router/switches...into APC battery backup units. Both at home, and every client and setup that I have. Been a rule of thumb for a long long time, and I simply don't see the power issues that I see many peeps complian about. And they live a long time, I don't see the Ac adapter failure rates that people talk about. Just little APC battery units, like es350 or es500 units...a whopping 45 - 60 bucks for troublefree setups.
