well the internal networks seems fine and very fast. I however have an issue with the QuickVPN software. I can connect just fine but I am unable to see any of my shares so I have been reading here and others seem to have this issue.

I have no firewalls up that I know of I know widows one is disabled and I use AVG free AV software so that’s not one.

I am able to ping all the nodes within the tunnel but cannot map or browse for any of the shares.

firmware is the latest and tried the .40 quickvpn

    Can you all help

LOL I called Linksys tech and well they told me as long as it connected that where their support ended they don’t support file sharing or RD.

Do I have to wait for firmware updates to fix this or could I be missing something?

    Thanks allot
    Scott

I know this is the same type of question everyone else is asking but I can’t seem to find an answer.

so does that means I will not be able to get to my files on my NAS? I will have another rvs4000 for my shop soon but while I am out on the road I would like to upload files to it and from it and with the quickVPN your saying thats no an option.

Am I wanting to much out of this router. Would I be able to use the windows XP vpn connection to do this if I set up a true VPN in the vpn settings?
