Have had problems using the search function over the last 2 days. An example is this -
http://www.linksysinfo.org/portal/?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=42025 doesn't bring back the desired topic. Last night i wasn't getting any response from hitting the 'Search' button ie the page would just sit there with my search criteria sat there in the little box. This morning however i have slightly better results - a google-like page appears with various hits from the search. However (for example) when i try to use a couple of the results - http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=42025 or http://www.linksysinfo.org/portal/?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=14291 the required results don't come back (the URL's as i've just pasted here stay in the address bar of the browser) but all it's actually displaying on screen is this - http://www.linksysinfo.org/portal.

(this was using the forum's 'google search' and selecting the clickbox 'www.linksysinfo.org'). The example search criteria was 'wrt54g config tabs'.

Had to revert to an external google search to find the results i needed....Just starting this thread as i know the search used to work really well as i've used it before.

This was an example link that i found via an external google search - http://www.linksysinfo.org/portal/forums/archive/index.php/t-45131.html

    Welcome to LinksysInfo.org.

There is a good explanation why the URL you posted redirected you back to the main page: they were based on the old forum before we migrated to vBulletin.

I just tried the forum's own Search function using the keywords 'wrt54g config tabs' and it appeared to be working correctly, so give the Search or Advanced Search function another go and see if you can find the answers you want.
