On July 29 2005, Secunia issued a "Less Critical"-level security problem with the WRT54G:

    http://secunia.com/advisories/16271/

"The security issue is caused due to all routers being loaded with the same certificate and SSL private key. A user with knowledge with the private key can potentially decrypt router management traffic captured from the network."

I am unclear as to whether this is an issue with the WRT54G or all WR models. Unfortunately the advisory doesn't indicate a firmware version either.

Then just use ssh to access your wrt's webpage since the ssh key pair is generated each time you reset your wrt.... i think :)
