Send Broadcast Packet From Script On Router?

As I described in this thread http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=60712 I'm working on a traffic monitor script that uses QoS to choke down my internet connection as I approach my ISP's Fair Access Policy (FAP) limit. (I've actually got the "choking down" part working now - whoo hoo! Gotta fix the "bucket recovery" algorithm before I put it on a website though.)

I'd also like to send a broadcast packet from the router to the LAN that the PCs on the LAN could pick up and display a popup window with a "You're Almost FAPed! [Ok]" type warning.

Can I get the WRT54GL router to send a broadcast packet to the LAN from a script on the router?

    Thanks All,
