Does anyone know of an easy way to separate *completely* lan and wifi lan based connections while still providing both with wlan access?

I'm running a wrt54gs with the latest tomato firware.

Dont quite understand your question, are you wanting to seperate the two so they cannot talk to one another but still connect to the internet, because the way it reads it makes no sense to me.

edit, ok we posted at the same time, you should have a setting that is "ap isolation", by enabling that you will keep the wireless users from accessing the lan computers.

I am trying to accomplish the same as the original poster. I don't want wireless clients to have access to LAN computers. I tried enabling th "AP Isolation" and that does not work. It just stops wireless clients from seeing each other, but I can still access the wired LAN.

Is there another way to do this? A console command perhaps?

If you are running 3rd party firmware there may be one of the programmer types around that can tell you how to do that. I can think of other ways to do it but it would require more equipment.

I'm running the Tomato 1.07 firmware. There must be a way to isolate the two interfaces.

I used access restriction rules to filter out all samba related actions and any lan access from wireless - it works but I wish there was a way to make it work with separate VLANs like it should.
