I've killed access to my WAP54G v1.1 (ping but no web/telnet both wire/wireless.) Apparently, there is no easy tftp/reset/etc trick to fix this.
So, I found this on the SeattleWireless site:

Also, I found this for a the ASUS WL500G <<Here>>
. Almost exactly the same thing.

So now I'm trying to determine what I need to make this serial. I have no problems putting it together, but I have no idea what parts to get and where, for I'm not much of a circut guy. Mostly, don't know what resisters and cappacitors I would need. Or a good source for the parts.

Also, the SeattleWireless desc. seems a bit lacking, but the link shows it very nicely with some pictures, but it's for the ASUS. I figured I would just have to switch the J25 diagrams seeing that they are the same (check the pictures in that forum).

Has anyone done this to their, WAP? If so, how'd ya do it? Would you do a small tutorial? I'm sure there are others that would be interested.

I'd be keen to know how to interface a serial port to J25 as well

    Thx
