I replaced trusty old Linksys BEFSR41 V2 for a WRT54G v 4.0 in my home network. The reason I did this is to get wirelss coverage upstairs. The BEFSR41 was a second router in the system and was easy to set-up as such. Just turn off the DHCP and go. The router upstream at the connection handled all DHCP duties.

Now I put the WRT54G where the old wired router was and I can't see the outside world. I can see all the machines plugged into the router but cannot see the internet. It is quite annoying as the set-up menus have become very complex and deep. Also, the set-up CD is driving me crazy. I have run it three times without success.

Any suggestions on what my settings should be?

    Thank you.
