I have dd-wrt running on my WRT54G. It is working very well. I have 2 computers connected via 4 port switch on back, and one connected wirelessly. What I want to know is if there is a way to set the priority of each computer? The computer connected by wireless is mine. I run azureus, which really sucks the bandwidth of the whole LAN. My dad, who has a computer connected via the 4 port, will check his email occasionally, use the internet, etc. When I’m running azureus and he can’t get on because it’s slow, he gets pissed. So, is there a way to make his computer have a higher priority than mine, so when he wants the internet, he gets it, and mine still has internet, but not as much bandwidth, while he’s on? Thanks.

Easiest way may be setting up QoS limits, and mark bittorrent as bulk.

I can sustain a 100ms ping on my 1536/384 DSL with az connected to 200 peers simultaneously.

Also, check the DD-WRT faq for adjusting maximum connection values that may be slowing things down too.

thanks. It looks like what I wanted. The only thing i don't understand is the uplink downlink thing at the top. How can you test for max up/ down?
