Setting SSL VPN port to anything greater than 32767 does not work.

    Hi all,

Using the latest firmware, the RVL200 web configuration page allows one
to set the SSL VPN port to something else than 443. We would like to use
Virtual Passage through port 60443. However, this port does not work, no
VPN connection results. There seems to be a bug in RVL200 such that the
highest port that works is 32767. I assume that somewhere in the firmware
the port number is stored in a signed word instead of in an unsigned word.

We have many customers across the globe where we intend to replace the
existing (Fortigate) firewalls with RVL200 routers. However, we cannot
do this if we cannot set the required 60443 port. Is there any chance
this bug will be fixed in the near future in a new firmware update?

Any help or feedback is appreciated.

Why don't you open a case at Linksys? I think these are the ones who can fix the problem. I am afraid you will not get to many help here as it is clearly related to firmware issue.
