I have recently purchased a WAG325N and I will be the first to admit that I am a novice at all this wireless and networking stuff.

What I would like to do is have a mixture of devices connected physically and wirelessly to the WAG325N to access the internet but I would like ALL the devices to have a static IP address e.g my laptop has a wireless card with a specific MAC address and I only want this mac address to be assigned a specific IP address.

I have tried to set this up in the WAG325N but I cant find a place where I can see assign this MAC address to this IP address. I dont want to use DHCP.

For the pcs physically conected to the WAg325N, I would also liek to assign fixed Ip addresses but again cant find anywhere to do this..

For some unknown reason (marketing differentiation?) many Linksys routers do not have a "static dhcp" or "LAN Clients" IP reservation scheme - this is one of the first additions 3rd party firmwares often add (i.e. Woytekm for the WAG200G, Hyperwrt/Tomato for WRT54GL etc).

So it may not be there - and this means fixed port forwarding can only be done to machines with fixed IP addresses defined in the client not using dhcp, and yes this a complete PITA!
