Ok It seems that something in my network is not letting 2 DS's be online at the same time....

I need to know how to forward these ports to both DS's

    I am using DD-WRT v23 Final

    TCP Ports 28910, 29900, 29901, 29920, 80, 443

All UDP between 1024 and 65535

That is Nintendos Recomadation for ports.....

Next i have to set a static IP addresse in each DS.....I do not know where to place that IP addresse in the router so the DS can find it.

any other suggestions will be helpfull

i dont know exactly how a ds connects to the net, but based on your description it requires incoming ports be opened up from a public ip. if this is the case then you would need one public ip per ds, unfortunately.
sounds like nintendo dropped the ball on that one, making them unable to work with nat.

I've got 2 DSs I've been meaning to get hooked up. I'll try to set 'em up this weekend and let you know how it goes. FYI I have a LinkSys WRT54G v4.0 with the (I believe) 4.20.6 firmware.

you set the static ips on the administration -> services page of DDWRT. Get the MAC addresses of each DS from the Status -> lan -> dhcp clients button and put them into the DNS Masq part of the page listed in the first sentence. When you are on the services page, hit the ADD button twice and you'll see 2 entry boxes for 2 static ip allocations. give each of them a name under "HOST" and then put the ip you want them to have.
