Hi, I am new here  . I have recently tried creating a FTP with Serv-U but I am unable to access my ftp thru WAN. Lan is just fine. The current version I am using is thibor 15b. I am not sure if this is question is already posted, if so , I am sorry in advanced :frown: . I tried using the search button but it didn't really give me a defined answer. Thanks for the input.

So, you created a FTP server on one of your computers on the LAN side and you would like to be able to access it from the WAN side?

    You just need to:
    - make sure the server has a fixed IP address
    - do a port forwarding on your FTP port (default is 21) from the WAN interface to the IP of your server

The bigger will be accessing the (usually dynamic) WAN IP. I use dyndns for that. They have a XXX.serveftp.net domain that fits the purpose.
