I am trying to use the highest securityavailable on this device, except does that require me to have a RADIUS Server to utilize the WPA with AES. If it does, then does mean that I am stuck with using the weak WEP security method or go out and buy more server software, or even hardware?

You can use WPA-PSK without a Radius Server with ether TKIP or AES. WPA2 is the highest security available at this time. WPA-PSK should give you enough security for more information you can go the the wifi-org site at http://www.wi-fi.org/OpenSection/index.asp . You can get WPA2 as a update to Windows XP SP2 at the Microsoft site.

Can the WRT54G utilize the WPA2 spec?

Only with the pre-release version of the firmware on this site.
