Can somebody help me regarding the following problem:

Last week had a power failure at home. This caused my internet-connection, router-login etc to be malfunctioning.
I found out the power-down resulted in a complete reset of all my WAG54G router settings (security, password, etc etc). The same happens when I disconnect the router from power severall minutes

Of course I have backup of all my settings, but still, I don't want to do this everytime I disconnect my router.

Does anyone know how to prevent this problem or is my router broke?

I also have a WRT54G and this router does NOT show the same problem.

    Thanx!!!

I also got it on my WAG, I simply backup my config an never goot the problem again.

Just taken a call from my Dad, his WAG354G (f/w 1.01.05) has just lost it's settings for the 4th time in three months.

Only thing I can think of is that he loves turning the power off on his router once or twice a week.
