Recently got a second hand WRT54G v2.2 router, had Tomato 1.12 installed, i reset, then upgraded to 1.28 and performed a NVram clear.

I've changed the default IP to 192.168.250 as my other router/modem/wifi is set to

My setup is dynalink rta1025w (all in one modem/router/wifi) has the DHCP server set and wifi off. the WRT54G is connected from Port 1 on the dynalink to port 1 on the WRT.

Wifi is setup on the WRT.

    1. The Time does not update. I've set it to update every hour and default server but there is no update.

    2. Can i connect the Dynalink to the WAN port instead of the LAN ports?

    3. I've setup access restrictions to a MAC connected over wifi but the restriction does not apply. If works if i restrict it by IP, but not MAC.

    4. How do i setup the WRT to be remotely accessible? The Dynalink is setup with external IP and port 8080, do i just assign a different port to the WRT?

1, You have to setup a gateway for wrt which is the ip address of the modem's lan port. You don't need to do that when you connect to the wan port of wrt.
2, if you wanna use the restriction function, you will have to connect to the wan port.
4, setup port forward on the modem(set internal ip address to ip address of the wan port of wrt and set port to 80 or 443 if you use https(or any ports which you have set in tomato )).
