I have an Asus adsl modem router as a dchp server. It is linked to a Planet hub. The hub is connected by ethernet to two PC's ethernet and the WRT (via one of its ports).

I want to connect a laptop wirelessly to the internet via the WRT.

The laptop can see the two PC's but can't see the internet. When I logon to the WRT I see it is also set to and also acting as a dchp server.

How should I configure the WRT so it can get the laptop onto the internet?

disable DHCP on the router, set it to obtain an address or specify an address and that should be all u need to do.

So you only want to use the router as a passtrough device or just an accesspoint...

!st to change the routers ip to then disable the dhcp... then connect the modem to the numbered port of the router... that should hepl you solve your problem....
