    Hi guys,

I am using Shibby's latest build for my RT-N66U. I am on Verizon DSL. It is a PPPOE connection. I don't know if this information is need but my setup is as fallows. I have the Verizon supplied Westell 6100g DSL modem set to bridge mode with my RT-N66U handling the PPPOE login. These are the settings required to set a modem up to work with my connection.

    PPPOE LLC VPI-0 VCI-35

Which DSL Overhead Value do I choose for this connection?

    Thanks,
    Rocky

    32 or 40 looks reasonable. http://ace-host.stuart.id.au/russell/files/tc/tc-atm/

Btw: The drop down menu already lists your config.

Just to be precise here: I'm only suggesting this. There are a lot of protocols that migt be used, so this is no definitive answer. If you really want to be able to calculate the overhead, ask your ISP.

What do you mean by the drop down menu already shows my config? I'm sorry I don't fallow what you mean.

There is a drop down menu under QoS/Basic Settings... There are two entries you could try: PPPoE LLC and Bridged LLC.

Thats the conclusion I just came to as well. Thanks for your help. Do you anything about the TCP Vegas setting? Should I use that or just leave it alone?

    You are welcome.

    Leave it alone.
