I have a few E3200s and I can reliably screw up the 5GHz wireless. When I change the web admin local access from HTTP to HTTP & HTTPS, 5GHz will disappear from the GUI and persists after reboots. Sometimes I can get it back by unconfiguring HTTPS, but sometimes not. Strange behavior. I don't have the same issue on Asus RT-N66, only Linksys E3200.

The Linksys E3200 (and E2500 and EA2700) are pieces of junk with usb 5ghz radios.

The 5ghz stops working if you put it under high wireless traffic, either overheating, overflow, or w/e.

Whenever I reset my nvram, the 5Ghz radio shows up. Alot of basic settings won't screw up the 5Ghz interface. But if I enable a secondary vlan and link to to a physical port, the 5Ghz radio stops showing up after reboots, have to reset nvram to see it again. (Multiple vlan with guest wifi works, just the port part that causes it to screw up).

Don't have this issue with my E4200's or RT-AC66U.
