Steps I did to upgrade: Linksys webgui > upgrade firmware > 30/30/30 reset > somehow the NVRAM wasn't cleared(login info from Linksys still there) > No wireless 5ghz/eth2 > upgraded the same firmware from tomato webgui > cleared NVRAM from config webgui > still no wireless 5ghz

What did I do wrong? What can I do to get the 5ghz? thanks.

edit: 5ghz was working on linksys firmware 1.0.3, was able to browse internet with it

Also, my WAN/LAN LED used to be green, now they're orange/yellow, is there any way to make them again?

What was the filename of the file you used to flash Tomato?

Edit: any chance you could show us a screenshot of your basic settings page?

Hi... It does work. I am using the same firmware on my E4200 V1 without any issue on both bands. Reflash again and chose erase NVRAM and see how you get on.

    try this:
    - clear nvram
    - flash new firmware with option clear nvram if not done before. else reboot
    - wait for at least 15 minutes. leave it alone!! don't even try to connect and login
    - reboot router
    - wait for at least 5 minutes. leave it alone!!
    - connect to the router and login. see if 5G is present.

You need the RT-N build, not the RT build. I have this on my E4200 and 5GHz works fine.

    From Shibbys page http://tomato.groov.pl/?page_id=69

Linksys E4200 (v1) K26 does NOT 5GHz radio support. K26RT-N support both radios. V2 is not supported!

I believe they have different wifi drivers, but other than that someone else will have to answer.
