    Hi,

I need to set one vlan tag to 500 and another to 600

how do I go about this?

offset 496? i can probably get 500 done there, but 600 = no go then?

sound like impossible, unless you use 2 routers

is this a tomato/shibby limitation or do all firmwares have such limitations by design?

i`t not possible tio get vlan 500 and 600 in the same time. VID is a multipe 16 of VLAN id. Of you set VID offset to 31, then you will be albe to make VLAN`s between VLAN496 to VLAN512 but always it is a multiple of 16.

thanks for the response shibby.. will you be adding this possibility in future? i see some firmwares, like stock firmwares that are able to achieve this.

i wish i can use some other vlan tag but my isp uses these high numbers...

I hope one day shibby you're able to make VLAN more customizable. In openwrt everything works correctly. As for tomato, it just stopped working one day. Not very sure if my device has issues but i can't get it to go online any longer. This happened after a power outage. But in any case, I hope to see tomato progress it has everything i need/want...

I've made openwrt work similar to tomato but tomato is still my favorite..
