Signal BOOST!!!

    I'm have been reading a alot persons have signal problem with the linksys routers. Is it becous the antennas sucks or is it something "inside" the router? I have also be reading its possible to change the antennas and attach another. How do that work? Will all antennas work? i dont now nothing about it so please talk in newbie language. ;-)

    I havn't had any issues with signal with my router...sometimes if you're in a noisy area you might need to try a couple different channels but usaully you can get a decent signal...
    as for the antenna's they just screw off and you can replace them, you need a special connector at the end of your replacement antenna or an adapter...

    The replacement antenna is a high gain antenna. The factory ones are rated at 2dBm, so any antenna with a value higher will be fine. Your local Radio Shack should have them in stock.

    Here's Linksys replacement antenna model for your reference. (of course they charge more $$ for it)
    (I think it's rated at 7dBm)
