I have installed a WCG200 Gateway Laptop #1 links wirelessly just fine and I have access to the internet.

When I attempt to connect Laptop #2 or my Desktop (with Wireless USB adapter), both see a signal and attempt to connect, but I can not get a connection no matter how many times or how hard I try. I enter in my WEP key and it attempts to connect, but it just states that it can't connect.

How can one computer see the sign and connect, but all the others see the signal and can NOT connect?

your usb adapter might be having compatability issues with your router. You may wish to check the advanced settings of the adapter and set it to high compatability instead of high performance (the default).

Make sure that the other 2 computers wireless adaptors MAC adresses are in the unit. If you have not enabled MAC filtering, then I would suggest that you turn off all encription and see if they will connect.

If they do, then I would turn your encription back on and set all three up at the same time.

BTW, older network cards don't support anything more than WEP 128.

I hope this helps, if not I will try to think of more things to try.
And I hope you have tried rebooting the router....
