    there seems to be a new version. SIPatH is closed

    This project is discontinued.

    Our work is officially continued by the Milkfish Project where it will be maintained within the Boozy Flavor.
    You may find details on the current development at milkfish.org .
    New IPK Packages for your SIPatH router can be found at packages.milkfish.org/boozy/

    How about renaming SIPatH in DD-WRT into milkfish and integrate the new code?

    I second this request!! However, I vote to just rename it "SER" as that is the original project which all of this derives from anyway.

    SER = SIP Express Routing

    I'm glad that SIPatH/MilkFish is being actively worked on, as I had a lot of problems with the current version of SIPatH. In its current form, unless you wanted the abilities to call into other phones in your nework (ie: office-style) then it really wasn't practicle yet. Its proxying services were very beta it seems.

    This change is scheduled for v24 (issue 237)
    it was requested for v23 but Brainslayer moved the report to the v24

    @unikum
    btw, milkfish v1.0 is the same code (same functionality)

    From the bugtracker:
    He doesnt want to introduce/reintroduce bugs

    That sounds about right. I wonder what new features MilkFish will have above and beyond what SIPatH provides now.
