Site Survey

I do use Tarifa 35b and did request (at sourceforge.net) to add a Site Survey feature (like the one in the WAP54G if you configure it as Wireless Repeater, or the one in e.g. DD-WRT).
I noticed there is a "wl scan" Telnet command that should do the same.
This doesn't work though, it gives: "eth1: Operation not supported"
If this can be made to work, it is sufficient to me (no need for a Site Survey web page)...how to make it work if possible?

Thanks...that implies it cannot be done from a wireless client, you need to have a wired connection to the router, access Telnet and do the command sequence:
    wl ap 0
    wl scan
    wl scanresults
wl ap 1 (back to AP mode)

Yep wired will be the only way.

No go, with Telnet through a wired client the command "wl ap 0" results in "eth1: Invalid argument".

"wl ap" results in "ap is 1 (on)".
"wl ap 1" is accepted but doesn't change anything of course (allready AP mode).

It appears Tarifa doesn't like to change mode.

I can issue wl ap 0 on my WRT54GS running dd-wrt. Maybe the wifi config is different for Tarifa. The wl scan works fine but wl scanresults returns nothing.
