Skype and MSN on Linksys WIP330

    Skype and MSN clients were built into a couple of early firmware versions of this excellent wireless IP phone. The firmware was withdrawn so as not impinge on sales of Linksys Skype phones and it could only be re enabled by a fiddly process of manipulating the 'phones Windows CE operating system and was then lost again upon reboot.

    The good news is that the missing firmware has been found and here it is. Just follow the usual firmware upgrade procedure.

    The main menu now has icons for MSN and Skype and also now support Microsoft Activesync. However, WPA issues corrected in later firmware will apply and there will be no STUN or wireless N support.
