im having a problem with downloading using http when my uTorrent is working(the utorrent is installed on some dedicated machine)

when im downloading files while utorrent isnt working the avg. speed is about 800kb but when utorrent is working the avg. speed is only about 485-500.... i have tried already making a QOS rule to limit the utorrent traffic by protocol(bittorent), also tried to apply the QOS on the port and also even tried to apply the QOS on the MAC of the utorrent machine but nothing helped.

i think it has something to do with the connections.

any help would be very appreciated
im adding screenshots of my config i hope you would be able to help.

    Thanks! :)

In your bittorrent client is encryption enabled?

QoS works best only for outbound traffic. For inbound traffic you could only limit how much bandwidth a particular job takes, but you can't really force other traffic to take precedence over it.

Don't forget Comcast was busted & outted by the EFF and Associated Press for interfering with Bittorrent traffic. Make sure your ISP isn't doing the same thing. If it's Comcast, they will be automagically interfering with it to slow it down.

    yes the encryption is on.
when i was checking it i wasn't downloading nothing i was just uploading and my upload limit on utorrent is 55kb(which means i have about 30kb/sec for other things so it shouldn't be the problem) and i haven't been downloading nothing. so thats also make me thing that it is something to do with the connections.

it is also not a problem with my ISP because the moment that i close uTorrent my dl speed goes straight back up to 800kb/sec.

When encryption is on, the IPP2P filter can't really work (otherwise the ISPs will be trottling it on their side already).

You might want to take a look at the last few posts in this thread to see how this fellow resolved his problem with uTorrent and using the internet simultaneous without slowdowns.

If you search you'll find other similar threads with regard to uTorrent.
