i just installed wifibox firmware, switched transmit power to 100%, but according to netstumbler the signal is around 5db less then with the original firmware??
Is there more to adjust then just transmit power?
Where i was normally connected most of the times at 54 mbps, now its only 12 mbps....a bit dissapointing

100% is not recommended for long use...

    could that be it?
how do i hard reset it?
i don't see much differnce also between 12,5% and 100%, in db in netstumbler

Press the reset button for 20 - 30 seconds after flashing with new firmware. This will provide you with a "hard reset". BTW I use Wifi-Box's latest firmware without any issues.

hard reset is the reset button being pressed for about 30 secs before releasing.

I use approx 50% if you find your 12% to 100% is no difference then what is netstumbler running on? the PC using wireless adaptor?
