    Hi,

I don't know if anyone in here would know this, or could perhaps guide me somewhere else for a good solution to my problem, but I'm gonna try you guys anyway.

I am currently trying to hook up my printer to send SMTP emails, specifically the Brother MFC 7440N. It has worked previously just fine, and suddenly stopped working. We might have changed firewall when it stopped working, but Im not sure.

Sending SMTP from office computers work just fine, but sending from the printer does not work. We have tried 2 different printers to conclude the printer isn't defect. Does a printer somehow encapsulate an SMTP datagram any differently than a PC, causing it to be dropped by the firewall?
