I mailed this to Jon 6 months ago but never got an answer so I suppose he did not find this interesting. Here's some ideas for features any mod developer may feel free to pick up and use. 1. Completely secure upgrades even over wireless or the Internet: Add a text box to enter the MD5 hash of the file into on the upgrade page and if anything has been entered Tomato will check the uploaded file against the entered hash. A mismatch will stop the upgrade and show a error message. The feature is optional so if the box has not been used the check will be skipped. This could also be done by presenting the MD5 after it has been uploaded and ask if the upgrade should continue or not. 2. A setting to disable the "button" process from the web UI. As I don't have a button on the front (54GS), and many may not use it anyway I see no use for this process as it only use memory and do nothing (for me). I don't know if it's needed for the reset button but if I would ever need to reset I might as well power cycle as this is easier anyway. 3. An option to run HTTPS only but requests to port 80 are redirected to the HTTPS service. That way you only have to type 192.168.1.1 in a browser to reach it rather than https://192.168.1.1 which takes almost twice times as many key strokes. Thanks!
