I bought a WIFI card on Ebay that said it had an agere chipset which is supported quite easily in both windows and linux. It turned out that it had the PrismGT chip in it, which is still under developement for linux and used a crappy driver for windows (no .inf file only a .sys) which wouldnt let you configure settings or not use the little client they give you. This was unnacceptable. since it wouldn't work for anything I bought it for. I wanted to use Airodump and aircrack to do some auditing of my own wireless solution and prismGT cards don't really work in windows with that stuff. After much Google searching I found drivers (YAY) and they support monitor mode. they are the only drivers that are not from WildPackets(airopeek) that do this, and they can use peek.dll. this driver is hard to find so im posting it here. I take no responsibility for what you do with it and read the readme. it seems that I cannot attach a file. I will answer pm's with requests until I can find where I originally found it.
